Uplifting Photos in the Wake of the Corona Virus, Day 18 | Jenn Terrell Photography

Uplift Blog Series: I wanted to help be a part of online positivity in the wake of the coronavirus and social distancing measures. I have had the honor of working with some amazing people who have such interesting and uplifting stories. ❤️I think now is the perfect time to share some of those. At first, I was going to put them all into one post but I think they are each so strong they deserve their own post and it will give me something to look forward to sharing with the world each day.

DAY 18

We could all use a person like Hattie in our lives. I met her on a commercial photoshoot in New York. She walked into the studio and commanded everyone’s attention. There was probably around 25 of us in there. She walked in with such a stylish outfit and these gorgeous vintage glasses. She had a huge smile on her face and I just got the feeling that I wanted to know her. From the moment she first spoke to me, I felt heard. She looked at me, she saw me, and she cared. Photographing her was such a joy too. She had this contagious smile and energy. You will see it in these photos. ❤️

I got to hang out with her in her Hell’s Kitchen apartment a few weeks later and I was just as much of a fan then. We got margaritas in the sun after and it was such a memorable and joyful day in NYC.
