Uplifting Photos in the Wake of the Corona Virus, Day 29 | Jenn Terrell Photography

Today’s post features another South Beach fixture. The first time I went to South Beach I saw him selling magnets and I thought he was just so interesting so I asked to take his photo. It was dark outside but the lights on Ocean Drive were perfect for this shot. Then when I moved to South Beach a few months sort of a year later, I looked for him every time I walked down Ocean Drive but I didn’t see him until around December. The first photo below is the one I took on my first trip to South Beach. The following photos are photos I took when I finally caught up with him again a year later and he was just as interesting! I love his style!

Throwback Thursday | Jenn Terrell Photography

I have zillions of old files on a number of hard drives dating back to circa 2009 when I got my first DSLR camera. I was shooting film before that. I used to photograph every. living. thing. haha My camera stayed in my purse and I photographed anything new or remotely interesting.

I wanted to finally put those files to some use and to look back and see the things I thought would make an interesting photo back when I had my little t2i canon rebel. I used that camera for seven years until the parts starting falling off of it. So I have decided to start posting roughly once a week here on my blog. I will re-edit or edit ( some of them were never edited and never saw the internet) in my current editing style that I have nailed down after many years. So this marks my very first throwback Thursday on the blog 😎

Are photog soulmates a thing? 😁

A warm and cuddly fall family session | Jenn Terrell | Miami Beach Photographer

Jack, the adorable toddler in the red shirt below, had his 6th birthday yesterday 🙌💖 His birthday party falls on my birthday this year so I thought I would post a blog about his family session today. 😊 I wish the entire family could all come to Miami Beach so we could celebrate together but this year I will have to settle for facetime as they all live a few states away.

How to make a photo-worthy blackberry cheesecake | Jenn Terrell, South Florida Photographer

I felt the urge to bake something a few nights ago after watching several Halloween baking competitions on TV. 😆 I wanted to make something that would also photograph well. I recently moved to Miami Beach, Florida and my kitchen is not complete with baking supplies yet so I also had to make something that didn’t require a mixer. I searched the internet for several recipes and I came across this Blackberry Cheesecake that I knew would look amazing and probably taste pretty good too. 😉
